in the fallout apocalypse that is the modern internet, catboy paradise would be like a series of holotapes from some guy who escaped the trauma of societal collapse by looking at drawings of men with animal ears. and the holotapes were covered in stickers of super sonico, which made them kind of inconvenient to play
but regardless of analogy, i’m mika, i enjoy anime boys and video games, and i’ve started getting really nostalgic for the type of online spaces i grew up using. ones where your password (if you were even asked for one!) could be any length, where nobody expected to make money from blogging, where the web wasn’t nicer but at least the toxicity was from some dweeb on a forum and not like a multi-billion dollar corporation.
over the past few years, i’ve watched so many of my most-used websites — places where i met my closest friends — be bought out and turned into 4chan clones, fall into obscurity as its features slowly stopped losing support, lose sight of what actually made it worth using, or just shut down entirely. so i want to create my own little corner of the internet!
please enjoy your time here, whether you’re reading my blog, checking out my web graphics, or simply trying to find me on other platforms.
stay kawaii my poor little meowmeows,

mika
