it’s still pretty dusty from construction around here (…the website, i mean, as in i’m still putting things together) but i figured i ought to make the first actual journal-type entry! so… hello!

i’m not sure what all i’m going to put here, really. i want this to be my much wordier alternative to bsky, or rambling to my friends in DMs, but i don’t really know what i should talk about. ocs? anime? video games? music? should i categorize things, or just go wild? i’m sure all of this will reveal itself eventually, but for now, i’m kind of lost

well, as for what’s on my mind aside from web design stuff: today is t’saya tia’s nameday, marking my fourth year of playing FFXIV! and what a four years its been, lol… still going strong, although we’re firmly in my routine of not really doing anything interesting mid-patches. i guess i’ve been levelling CRP on and off and running jeuno when i remember to, (that damn bed still hasn’t dropped, but i’m too stingy to buy it on the marketboard when it’s still at like 1m gil) but mostly i’m waiting for Ishgard Restoration 2: We’re On The Moon This Time and Eureka 3: Thank Fuck It’s Not Ugly Like Bozja (No Offense). i love relic weapons i love crafting macros i love the diadem. i love when XIV lets me watch youtube videos while i click things and make numbers go up.

also, we just reached rise of the zilart in FFXI! i immediately like it more than basegame despite doing like three quests so far lmao. there was just… a huge leap in how interesting/Good the cutscenes have been, somehow. XI tests my patience truly every time i play it, but i’m desperate to learn as much about the story and world as i can before the next alliance raid drops…!

oh also i’m going to the Weird Witchy Shit convention (forgot the name) in charlotte next saturday, hoping to get some stickers for my water bottle, so everyone at work can know that i’m a weird internet person

that’s probably all that’s worth mentioning, i guess. i don’t feel like crytyping about like wehhhh my job sucks or i’m kind of in a weird space art-wise (when am i not) i think i just want to keep this to hobby stuff rn
